Congrats to you as well webdev, this will be the first time I will be working as a Mobile UI developer.

Mostly the systems run on Java and JSP. Im not a Java person. But they have said chances are they will train me up, which is cool. One of there creations you might know of (or someone you know) is http://www.t-mobilepictures.com My job basically will be to take PSDs, convert them to WML, xHTML and make them work on all the cell phone browsers that the client requests.

I checked out The Globe And Mail site and your going to have a fun time working as a UI there. They have a cool site.

Congratulations on your new job rooney . Adding Java to your skillset will come in handy in the future since Java is a huge cross-platform language.

Webdev: Congratulations and good luck on your job. I read the Globe and Mail online on a regular basis so I'll keep an eye out for your work.
