Default Microsoft Gives Yahoo Ultimatum

I read that Microsoft gave Yahoo 3 weeks to merge or otherewise they will go hostile.

What do you guys think of the Microsoft and Yahoo mereger if it happens agains Google.

I think Microsoft is feeling the heat with Google releasing offline Google apps and it got rave reviews.

Hmmm... Microsoft really wants to acquire Yahoo, huh?

By going hostile, does that just mean that Microsoft would buy the majority of Yahoo stocks? Seems to be a bad way to go about things... but it happens all the time

Did anyone expect Microsoft not to go hostile after Yahoo?

Being ruthless is how Microsoft became the largest software company.

I was just thinking the same thing. This doesn't surprise me at all. Microsoft is known to be ruthless! But they has a reason to be shaken up if they want to go head to head with Google.

It will be interesting to see how this goes...

Just read that Yahoo don't want to give in to Microsofts ultimatum unless they increase the bid of $31 a share.

Microsoft originally bid $44 billion.

It will be interesting to see outcome of this.
