Are you sure it's hibernating and not just going on Stand-by? Turn off the Stand-by features also, which you can also do from "Power Options".
So, if you want your computer to be ON all the time, then turn off both hibernation and Standby.
In my experience, Windows can by funny about that... i.e. even though you tell it not to hibernate, it still does, or if you tell it not to turn the monitor off, sometimes it still does... so let me know if you are still having problems with this.
Are you still having an issue? Make sure you click on the hibernation tab in the Power Options section of your Control and make sure that button is UN-checked. Then choose Apply and then OK.
Another thought, via the Power Options chose on the Power Schemes tab, make sure the System Standby is set to Never.
Power Schemes tab, make sure the System Standby is set to Never, DONE
on the hibernation tab in the Power Options section of your Control and make sure that button is UN-checked. DONE
And even with all of this my computer still hibernate.
What kind of computer do you have? I'm wondering if there is something that needs to be set in the BIOS. Have you checked there? And I'm also curious to know when does the computer hibernate? After 5, 10 minutes? How much time passes when it hibernates?
To answer your question DotComBot, Yea I am clicking "Apply".
Now rwskate, I do not have any idea what is BIOS and how to set it. I have a laptop (4 years old) and he start hibernating after around 10 to 15 minutes.
