Do you have a post somewhere that shows the different level of babbling, just curious when I get to the next level>>>yes, I am that big of looser....LOL

Or if anybody out there has the answer, bring it on.

You are quick like a ninja.LOL

Yes you are easy to find, easier that I thought, I feel like you are following me thought the cyberworld of the website babble forum.

Thanks for the info, too. My mind is at ease.

And I'm sure that nobody would leave you alone, I can imagine it would be out of control trying to pm back and forth and post, plus when its all in the forum it forces the forum to grow not just your inbox, good thinking.

Yes, Yes, I know I PM-ed you way too much. I mean... I didn't think 200 private messages a day was too much, but what do I know? Anyway, sorry I ruined it for everyone and now no one can PM Lisa.

I am following you. LOL I bet you're at your computer right now.

Thanks for understanding. A lot of people get ticked because I'm the owner of the forum and don't have PM access. But the whole point of this forum was to alleviate some of the emails I get from 2create and allow people to get answers from others quickly... so having PM sort of defeats the purpose of my goals.

Instant and private messaging sort of stresses me out 'cause I feel I have to answer right now but I realize that's a personal problem. LOL

Default Hey Lisa

I thought you may start a thead, speaking to the rapid growth and develpement of this site. How you started it and how you market it, and so forth.

I am at least curious myself, so I imagine others are as well. I mean, I know that it is hard to get enough members on a forum to really keep it rolling, and you have obviously done this so I would really appriciate the back story on it, unless you find it out of place to do so.

Either way, you got a great site here~!

Default Mind if I venture a guess?

Hey NixWebo,

Hope you don't mind if I jump in, and I would enjoy hearing, too, but if I were a betting man I would give odds that the truthful answer goes something like this: "It only looked fast because the first six years was six years of hard work building the 2Create site traffic that jump started the forum when I opened it."

WOW, I had no idea, I guess I never thought about it not being a new set of sites, just because they were new to me....well thats what I get for assuming.

Thanks James.

James is right. There was nothing fast about it. This is my 4th attempt at a forum. The others failed miserably because of lack of traffic. I spent years (6, as James said) building up 2createawebsite to get enough traffic to attract people to make the forum popular.

I think you need at least 1,000 visitors per day for a good chance. Some say less but I tried at around 1,000 and it still wasn't enough.

So my advice is to work hard at your main site first and then try to launch a forum.

Hey Lisa, You mean we get one of those cool static labels when we reach 1000 posts? Nice! Do 1 character posts count? Just joking!

I'll be happy if I can reach 500 posts...almost there.

I wonder how long it will take me to reach 1000?

And you'll only be the 2nd WB member to reach that level. Congrats! Sherif was the first.

Thank you, Lisa! webdev has been at 500+ for a while, though... where is he, by the way? he has been gone for a long time!
