In trying to stay true to my unconventional method of w8 loss for the "physically active challenged" folks out there. I went out and bought a Wii to get myself moving a little more. I've spent so much time working on my practice web sites, that I have been in front of my pc for days on end. I only have about 15 more pounds to lose, but my calorie counting method gets slower as I get closer to my goal.

After playing the Wii, I actually feel like I've been exercising. It is addictive and loads of fun.

Anyone else have a Wii?

I don't own one, nor have I ever played it. But I've heard that its loads of fun. I don't have much time these days to do anything extra because I work full time, I'm a full time dad and husband and to top it off I'm a full time student. Whew! However, I look forward to when I graduate in Oct. I'll have more time to do a few things. What games do you have?

I played the Wii and man can it be a good workout. I tried Boxing - part of Wii sports - and did I ever feel drained and sweaty by the end.

I have been trying to get Wii, but up here in Canada they are all sold out.

How funny you should post this! I just bought one this month and that is the best dang video game system I've ever played. My family was over recently and we played that thing for hours. Bowling and golf are my favorites.

I had never played before so I thought it would be cheesy. But it's amazing at how real it is. If you twist your wrist in bowling, the ball curves, etc.

I know what you mean TechieGuy, after playing boxing, I needed a serious nap. What a workout! I couldn't get one here in Texas either so I went online and paid more than I would have had I just waited.

I definitely plan on having some Wii parties.

I have Wii Sports which comes with the console. It includes boxing (my favorite so far), bowling, baseball, & golf.

I am all of the above, except student. I think that is why I don't work out. Busy, busy, busy. (excuses, excuses, excuses) But it helps with family time though.
