Default It has been a while...but I'm back

So how is everyone? I feel I should be posting in the "New Member Welcome & Forum Announcements" forum since it has been a long time.

I'll have to read through the forums and see what I've missed.

I have been busy re-designing my blog (again!) since I have added things that didn't flow nicely with previous layouts. My blog is now getting roughly 300-400 visitors a day and am still doing 3 posts a week.

I am still doing the reviews once a week, which I enjoy and I have come across many different and interesting blogs a Web sites.

TechieGuy, so good to see you again. I was wondering what happened to you. Glad to see your blog is getting more traffic. Not surprised though. Your content does live up to your domain name.

Yep! The only thing wrong with your site is that it is too much like potato chips. You can't eat one (page, that is). I have to force myself to leave. I keep saying, "Hey, that looks interesting, too." And it is good stuff, too. Congratulations on all those 5 stars!

Anyone want to know what Lisa is talking about when she says content should check out this site.

Good success, Paul.

James

Thanks guys. The only problem I have with my blog at the moment is that I'm on Blogger.

In the future I plan on moving to a host with Wordpress. For now, however, I'll just concentrate on writing content, more content, and even more content.

Yaaaaay WordPress! The good news is, the transition is pretty painless. The Import feature was a big help and even if you have a lot of posts it doesn't take long at all. I think you'll be happy with the new platform and awesome plug-ins.

TechieGuy,

Lisa is right... the transition is very easy. You can import all your blog files (with links and comments) from Blogger to Wordpress... so whenever you're ready, you will realize it's not as bad as it seems.

I love the new look, by the way.

Just got a chance to peep the new blog. Lovin the design and how you have the added section at the bottom. Seems to be the thing to do these days. Your comment layout is nice too.

Oh and I see you have name too! You mean TechieGuy isn't your real name? LOL Was that always there? Maybe I missed it before. Nice job.

"TechieGuy" is the name I use when I'm moonlighting as...a....techieguy.

I had included my profile, but it wasn't as obvious as it is now. It hink it adds a more personal touch to a blog.

I have read instructions on importing from Blogger to Wordpress and it doesn't look too difficult. I'll keep doing some research so I won't miss a beat when converting.

Totally agree. Amazing what adding a name will do.

Hi TechieGuy

Welcome back. I have also been so busy with my website that I have not
been checking in much. I now have found some new Pilates clients too so I am
teaching more Pilates which was part of my goal to reach others with the site.
