Default LOL - my own personal power outage

Hello all, this was too funny and I had to share...

I am sure many have heard about the power outages all over Florida and South Florida. Well, I seem to have so far escaped unscathed. In fact, I have been working all day, and since I work at home, with no tv or radio on, other than a few blips of the power and the internet kind of acting weird I really had no clue anything was going on until my mother called to see if my kids were in lockdown.

At any rate, after all this, since I do have power, I am working away, when all of a sudden every thing in my office shuts down!!!

My cat, aptly named Booger because she really is one, walked across the power supply of my computer system and printers and hit it just so, so that she turned it off and everything shut down! In 14 years of working at home, with three cats, this has never happened before. Who knows, maybe she wanted me to join the rest of Miami in a forced day off!

Heck! I don't need FPL to shut me down....I have Booger.

LOL Jewel.

Cats are funny sometimes. When I house sit for my brother and sister-in-law sometimes, if I am working on my laptop, their cat would just jump on the table/desk and proceeds to sit on my keyboard... maybe it's their way of saying: Stop Working and Give Me Some Attention!

Booger is a smart cat, she knows that if the power goes out, you will get to play with her

Gotta love the name. I don't have a cat to worry about...just a 2 year old that likes to press buttons.

The remote...any remote was my daughter's favorite button-toy. Her changing channels while I watched TV wasn't so bad as getting the remotes to work after all the drool...
