Lisa will have to address that question, but I'm curious. What is a post exchange?

Default about post exchanges

post exchange is when people agree to join and post so many threads or topics on each others sites.
the idea is that it brings new members and makes your site look busy which is great if your site hits a quiet patch.
for e.g ....
you can request something like a 5 for 5, 10/10 or 20/20 post exchange with the option to keep the posts on going if you actually like the site your exchangeing with.

how it usually works i have found on other forum promotion sites is that people request post exchanges, they submit their own rules and post limits, then if someone agrees to do the exchange they join each others sites and fill out that commitment and then either pm the person or announce under their request that they have filled that exchange.

it can work quite well and often people do stay on afterwards, the beauty of post exchange is that you can exchange with sites that arnt in your clique which helps get your site seen in many places by adding your site link to your signiture.
i hope this makes sense alpha xxx

Hmmmm.... never heard of this. I'll admit I don't fully understand how it works but it sounds like more work for me to set it up and get the rules ironed out, etc. LOL

ok lisa, it was just a suggestion hun,
here are a few sites that run this so you can check it out and better understand how it works.

http://forumadvertizer.com/viewforum.php?f=42

Post exchanges is when you agree to post a certain amount of posts on somebody's forum if they do the same on yours. This can be a great way to get some members and posts on your forum.

http://forumpromotion.net/phpBB3/vie...0eafbfc4159e6b

one exchange im on at the minute offers bronze, silver and gold post exchanges, this is the option of 25 post, 50 posts or 100 posts on each site spread over a week or a month depending on the amount of posts.

for eg . if you choose the bronze at 25 posts on each site, you would both make 5 posts a day so that it looked like your site was active and had regular posts, this is great if you have something to say or offer on the other site, if you dont and this is not for you, then you simply wouldnt except the exchange .

do you mean what would you post or comment on on another site during an exchange Govindji ?

if this is what you mean thats simple hun, as most forums require you to register before you can make posts you have the entire site to view and make your post choices on.

but before you except a post exchange it would pay you to check out the forum first before you agree to the exchange hun, that way you can tell if you will be able to contribute or not.

for example, i have done exchanges with a paintshop pro forum, because its something i can relate to, but i have also done exchanges on other forum advertising sites ect, where there is plenty to add or ask about which still counts for your post amount.

its really very simple once you get the hang of it hun.
