Default travel nursing site

If anyone knows where I can find information on the process of creating a travel nursing agency website (procedures, costs, resources, time), I would really appreciate it. I need the info for a business proposal I'm doing for a class; I'm proposing to an agency the benefits of implementing a website to their company. Again, thanks for the help!

Hi afromania321,

That's one of those questions that could have several answers depending on what needs to be done for the site. Could you tell us more about what the site would have? Would there be logins for members? Would you hire someone to create the site? What would be the primary function of the website? That might help us give you some kind of idea. Even still, prices would vary based on many variables.

It would have general information, such as pay, benefits, housing options, etc. It would also allow you to apply online, allowing a recruiter to check for available positions according to your criteria. It would probably also include skills checklists, as well as information on required credentials and education information on how to gain more credentials. There would also be travel resources and any other required forms that need to be filled out.
If outsourcing for the creation of the site is fairly cheap, then that could be an option; the idea is to sell to the company the benefits of using a website, and pricing is a big factor. Thanks for any info.

Just to give you a brief idea.

I run a web design site. And for that site including all the forms and everything I would probrably charge $650. Obviously varies charge to quality of work but I am just giving you a basic idea.

Best Regards,
Steve

Thanks. These are the general questions I need answered:
1. How much money is generally involved in creating and running a website (as i've described)? This is assuming the creation of the site is outsourced.

2. How long would it take to get the website running? What is the general process?

3. What is the procedure for creating the website's capabilities (online applications, credential checks, etc.)

I need to answer these, but I need to use citeable sources to support these answers. If you guys could help me find where to look for these sources, I would appreciate it.

Like I say $650 from me but it all varies. It would probably take me about 2-3 weeks and basically you would use PHP and then work with forms and using databases to strore the information and then show it in a page.
