Hi Haleet,

If you dig deep there has to be some topic you enjoy talking about or even a topic you wouldn't mind doing your own research to make an informative site. The best topic is the one you are most interested in so it's hard for me to give you more specific advice than that.

Do some brainstorming. I bet you can come up with something.

What about the 9 websites in Turkish? Anything there that would be interesting to an English speaking audience?

You must have an interest or hobbie.

Choose a topic from what you are passionate about

Ask yourself
1) What magazines do you subscribe to?
2) Is there something unique about your city that you love?
3) Do you have kids?
4) Are you in college?
5) What challenges did you face in building those 9 websites?
6) What did you do the last 3 weekends?

Everyone has something to share. Add to these questions based on your unique circumstances and something is guaranteed to fall out.

Hi Haleet

Rohan that was very helpful.

Just a word of advice about forum, though. It's not usually a good idea to start your online journey with a forum. The reason is, it takes quite a bit of traffic to get the forum active. So speaking from experience I would work on building your site first and then use that site to draw traffic to your forum.

I learned the hard way, trust me. The main reason this forum does well is I use my heavily trafficked site 2createawebsite.com to promote it. Just FYI.
