I would like some more information on this.

Like 2createawebsite stated, if you are already getting tons of traffic, then why not? It would be great for site monetization.

Augenauf, what specifically do you need help with in terms of monetization? There's AdSense, banners, affiliate programs, etc. You can do a lot of the same things you can do with a website if you have enough traffic.

Like Lisa said, there are lots of different ways to sell advertising slots on your forum, blog or website.

teat ads, banner ads, affiliate programs, kontera link popups, links etc.
