I am thinkinig of creating a website of finance and debt. Simply simple tips since i am currently studying a degree in acccounting and finance. I have done heaps of reasearch.

What i was wondering was do i need any qualifications to write about finance, or simply knowledge is enough. How do i tell users that its only for information and general purpose only.

Thinking of adding a blog to my website as well! is it a good idea? What php script is good to use! There are some free ones.

Am also not too confident in getting traffic to my site! is it possible without paying for traffic!

Financial help sites can do very well. The competition is kinda heavy, though but that doesn't mean you can't break through it with a useful site. I know of a lady named Debs who owns debtsteps.com and her site is doing very well. She focuses on helping people get out of debt.

If you go with a Blog I recommend WordPress. Get a host like www.hostgator.com that allows you to install it easily through cpanel. There are tons of customizable templates and it's very powerful. Blogger is good too. Very easy to setup and you can customize the template like you can with WordPress.

You can get traffic without paying for it with a lot of hard work and great content. Most of the traffic I generate to my sites is free through Google, Yahoo, Live, Ask, etc. Read www.selfpromotion.com for info on how to get traffic.
