Hi guys,

I found an website idea I'd like to implement. It is kind of politician promise archive, where people can submit promises politicians have gave / are giving. It might give us some good laughters afterwards. The problem is that I didn't find this idea myself but took it from this website ideas blog: http://badass-website-ideas.blogspot.com
Do you think it is legal just to take it or does the original author have some kind of copyright for it? There doesn't seem to be any mention about copyrights on site. Of course, if a blog is all about website ideas one could think they are meant for sharing...

It's legal.. there are probably other sites out there doing it already and nobody can tell you what you can and can not make a website about.

You can do it. You can't copy their implementation, but the idea of a site for political promises isn't protected in that way.
