Default choosing right domain name

Hello everyone.I am new to website creation and new to this forum.Needed some advice. If someone could please help.
Lisa said in her 2createawebsite.com website to choose a particular topic.
So say I choose to create a dinner recipe website at the beginning. But say I start getting sufficient traffic. Now I want to have lunch recipes, breakfast recipes, children's food recipe ,etc.
So in your opinion what is the best to choose for the domain name when I start:
something which is particular to dinner recipe like dinnerrecipe.com or
something more general to recipe like recipe.com so that my domain name remains proper even when I start to add lunch, breakfast recipes.

Thanks in advance.

Hey simran,

Since all of your categories has got to do with making food it will be a good idea to choose a domain name like recipes dot com, food recipes (dot) com etc.

If you choose a niche then choose a name that will accomodate every type of food, recipes etc. for future growth

I agree that you might want to keep your domain a bit more general in case you want to expand your site later. Of course you can start out focusing on dinner recipes with your content in the beginning but leave room for expansion.
