I'm a big fan of war movies, at college at the moment training to be an engineer.

Or the SAW series scary stuff

My favorite 7 films of all time are:

Like water for chocolate-Mexican love story
5 master of death-classic shaw brothers kung fu movie
Glory-Denzel Washington classic
City of Gods-excellent Brazilian film
Braveheart-everyone knows this one
Killer Kid- French film
Bourne Series

I especially love foreign films!

Nice thread. My fav movies are...in no particular order:

The Phantom of the Paradise - very cool movie from the mid 70's with a great soundtrack.
All the Sean Connery and Daniel Craig Bond films.
Fright Night - the first one only, not the sequels!
Beverly Hills Cop - the first one only, not the sequels!
The Aristocats - the Disney animated film.
Die Hard 1-2-3
The Taking of Pelham 123 - Excellent 70's film with a very cool ending...

The Life of Brian - Monty Python film.
Face Off - Nicholas Cage and John Travolta.

And there's probably a ton more. Looking over this list I realize my choices are somewhat adolescent, but hey, it's the life I live...

I don't know what the best movies of all time are but for this year "No Country For Old Men" get my vote for the best of the year...

Oh yeah. TV in the UK (which I get) always showed bollywood films late at night and I think they still do.

My fave film of all time is The Shining without a doubt.
