Now don't get me wrong.. I have been diving for years now and I have loved every second of it. The type of diving I normally do is warm saltwater in places like florida and the such. Reef diving if you will. That probably is still my most favorite but today I did something new with diving.
I went pearl diving in freshwater. That was a blast. It's like when saltwater diving and you find something cool like a silver coin or something neat down there, or a really close up encounter with a shark, it's the same feeling when you are down in freshwater and you find a huge shell that may or may not contain a pearl. It was a blast. You never know if you are going to find one.
From what I am gathering on the web, if you find a good sized nature made pearl that has good luster, color, and shape, you can sell these things for quite some change. Many thousand dollars. I'd probably keep my first one but hey, nothing beats freshwater diving for nature made pearls. It was so much fun. I'll keep going back for more.
Just thought I would share that with the babblers. Haha!
