Default It's the little things that get you through.

Hi Lisa and all you babblers,

I have been off the web for almost three months now, some hard times like so many others, but I pick up some wifi sometimes or get to the libary to keep up.

My point is I got a Birthday Greeting today from this site, (yes I know it's an automatic program) but it made me feel good. Part of my birthday is just relaxing for a change. Things are looking up everyday and I hope to be back to our new formed NORMAL soon.

I also have not forgotten that I want to make a living connected with online activilty so wish me luck. I hope to have real internet service back real soon.

To any other birthday folks out there, I hope you have a great time. More importantly to any of you struggling, be it with the economy or anything else. HANG IN THERE. I truly believe it gets better if you don't give up.

Have a great day all, I hope to be following these pages closer real soon

Eileen

Default That was a great post

Eileen,

That was a real heart tugger. I can only imagine what that meant to you with what may be going on.

Be it web stuff or what ever you have the power to control your future. I have worked for myself for most of my life and find that no matter what I do, I'm better off on my own. I see so many people who are crippled by the loss of a job and not knowing what to do, actually it may be the best thing that happened. Business is up, and it's down, it's how you adapt that sets you apart.

ps.... Happy Birthday!!

Default Happy Birthday, indeed.

A line I've heard many times over the years is that no matter what happens, it is never as bad as it seems in the bad times nor as good as it seems in the good times. I do know that at least the first part is true.

Take care of your spirit and your health. Nothing else matters. If you can find a place to sleep every night, some food to eat every day, and some clothes to wear, even from the donation shop, refuse to worry about the rest. Just do what you can each day and let the worries of tomorrow be dealt when they arrive. (It doesn't hurt to remember that over 90% of the things people worry about never even happen.)

There are some folks out there with loser attitudes and they may never do well, but you are clearly not one of them. With your attitude it is just a matter of time until you are soaring with the eagles.

We all wish you well and if there is any way I can help personally, PM me. At the least I am a good listener.
