R.I.P. Ed, Farrah and Michael
First Ed McMahan, then Farrah, now MJ. What a rough week. MJ's death especially hit me hard this afternoon. Michael's music was a part of my childhood. It's a shame his controversy sort of overshadowed his success in the last 15 years. I will never forget watching Motown 25 when he did the moonwalk for the first time. I was only 8 but I can recall going to school the next day and everyone buzzing about it.
I'm a little young to remember most of Farrah's work but I do remember watching her movie The Burning Beds in the early 80's with my mom. I just realized that was her in that movie when I was watching Barbara Walter's Special and they mentioned it.
What a sad day. My heart goes out to all the families.
Do you guys have any memories of Ed, Farrah and MJ?

MJ's death is very untimely. Nobody saw it coming. I was also saddened by Farah Fawcett's death byut was not in shock because we all know she was sick. But MJ's it's just really untimely. And its such a pity that his controversies overshadowed his being a genius in pop.

Ed, Farrah, and MJ
I recall the booming voice of Ed on the Johnny Carson show. He was a great #2 man, and seemed perfectly content in that spot...I remember Farrah as one of the original "Charlie's Angels". She was very pretty and had a great smile. I recall MJ, of course...I can see him standing on top of his car with the crowd all around him cheering him on...We will miss each of them, each in his/her own way...William Wilson

I couldn't bring myself to believe he(Michael Jackson) was dead. He was ready to make the biggest comeback of all time!
Kenny Ortega(the guy behind "Dirty Dancing", "High School Musical", and Michael's "Bad", "Dangerous", and "History" tours) said he was full of energy. Singing and dancing like he still has it. In no way was he stressed out nor acting like a jockey.
All he complained about during rehearsals on Wednesday night was a slight case of laryngitis.
According to Marilin Jackson, he started feeling ill after retiring for the night(after 1:00 A.M.). By mid-morning, he sang into a deep sleep and never woke up. Although some suspect it to be cardiac arrest or deadly side-effects to prescribed painkillers/sleep aids, no one knows for sure how or why he died.
I've been hearing the Internet has been breaking records on the amount of people online since his death. The keywords "Michael Jackson", Michael Jackson's death", and others like it are now the most search in history(double to that of Berack Obama)!
I feel bad that it overshadows the death of Ed, and Farrah.
As pctec mentioned, this goes to show the brevity of life.

I seen a 'ways back', on the news, MJ had about 100 unreleased songs secured in a vault, not to be released until his demise. Seems like he will continue to live on for sometime.
May our night skys ... "shine brighter" ... with 3 more stars in them.

Thanks Lisa
I'll never quit on his tribute blog!
Like when George Harrison died a few years ago, I wonder if they'll still release MJ's new studio album?
According to This Article, Michael and Farrah died[indirectly] because of Big Pharma.

I don't like the whole media blowout now jackson's died. This must be a terrible time for his family, people could just keep quiet for a bit.
