me? i just started this year(2008)... can't recall what month.. but.. i haven't published any website yet... i am still on the stage of Preparation,and just started to study bout website development...

The Problem With The Word "Expert"

I started webmastering probably around early 2001.

Though it has been really on-and-off for me..

I started planning my website in August 2008 and I've got a few pages created at the moment. However, I won't be going live until August 2009, because I've got important school exams this year

I have been marketing on-line in several markets and fields for about 7 years, I have not always been successful but I have always enjoyed what I am doing.

I also always learn something from the experience, then it is not a wasted journey as you have learned something new.

With my experiences I have made some good money and have a residual income form several sites but hope to expand on this in the coming months

While I have worked with computers in one way or another since personal computers were practical in any way, I only started working on a real website a little over two years ago in order to help our local Master Gardener's organization.

But the main reason I wanted to respond to this thread is to say that the answers in this thread show why this is such a great group. I have studied widely in the area of human development and achievement and I can tell you the attitudes toward thinking long term and learning from things that happen when you try this or that (there is no real failure when you think like that), are key to great success.

I listen to the news and get depressed. I read a post by someone like ShakespearesBrother16 and C99 and I smile. Yes, there is hope for the world after all.
