I REFUSE to own one! When I'm in my office and working, I'm available. When I'm not, family and personal time is uninterruptable. They can leave a message.

Alan and I are on the same page. I don't think I will ever own one...I hate the fact that I can be reached 24/7...when I want privacy or do not to be reached I make sure it stays that way... That being said, if I owned a car I might purchase one of those pay as you go phones in case of emergencies only...and it would stay in the Glove compartment of the car...if I owned a car...which I also don't see happening any time soon. This btw, is not a criticism of those who own a cell, just my personal attitude toward my owning one.

I have one at the moment, A Nokia N95 8GB. Best phone ever if you ask me!
I've gone through about five or so phone in my entire life though.

Couldn't live without my phone. I'm never home so people are always able to contact me when I'm out an about.

I have one, which I don't use much...actually not at all.

Why do I need one (besides emergencies)? I got through this far in life without one.

I have one (Sony Ericsson), though I used to have two (Nokia).

I have to agree that I don't particularly like using my cell phone I think that the modern world has become overobsessed with them.

I wouldn't mind an iPhone, however, if I had the money

I have one cell phone, which is also my "home" phone. I am waiting for my contract to run out, so I can upgrade to a smartphone... looking forward to that

Two cell phones. One personal and one business. Clients NEVER get the personal number.

I own one cell phone, a LG 380. I've owned around 5 cell phones over the years. The first one I got in 1997, which was an analogue signal and quite big. For several years I used a cell phone as my primary phone, but now I have a landline as well. Since I've had a landline I don't use my cell phone nearly as much as I used to.
