Chrome is a decent browser... still a little buggy, but then again I'm running it under Linux so that probably has a lot to do with it....

...I'd still go with Firefox or Opera though.

I don't get me wrong, I love Google and all of the things that they offer, but there is a limit to how much of their products I'll end up using. I don't want them to become a Monopoly or anything like that They are really intent on gaining a large share of the computer market, aren't they?
What's next? Will they start designing and producing laptops and desktop computers?

I tried it, but it's not as good as FF in my opinion. Not bad for a first try from google, but with a product as mature, compact, extensible, and fast as FF, I won't be switching anytime soon.

I really liked it when I used it - it was incredibly fast compared to Firefox. It took some getting used to, but in the end, for my purposes it was even better.

A little problem was that a lot of websites these days will try to determine your web browser and automatically enable/disable certain features depending on your browser. Because Chrome is relatively new, a lot of webmasters haven't really updated those checks. So even though Chrome renders websites like FF does, there is the chance that you miss out. Though as it's been months since the release, I'm sure that's changed.

My only disappointment is that they haven't released it for Linux yet >:[

Default Which browser oh my?

I still like to use I.E. it is now much more secure, fast and uses an URL parser to block malware and advanced anti-phishing technology. And belive it or not the F.F. browser has just recently ended its beta testing.

Anyway you can see much more reviews of all the current web browsers right here at:

I assume you run it with Wine?

That's pretty interesting - I haven't tried it yet. Is it useable?

Does anybody here use Opera often?
I hear it's quite good and fast? I've never experienced it but would like to know about it

Anybody?

What is Opera like as a browser? What are the advantages as compared to FireFox? I have been seriously considering switching to it. Thanks!
