What's In a Name?
I've been wanting to do this for some time. Maybe it's just me, but do you ever read people's username's here and wonder what they mean and why they chose them? Some people's are self explanatory but I thought it would be cool if people chime in and explain your what your WB username means.

Well first mine was HamsterPalace that I requested a name change to Rob as I decided to stick around.
Not to hard to grasp why my names were like that.

My name is what I used to sign up with the various blogging networks. I use my real name on my blog.
I couldn't use the names my wife calls me, so I chose something more family-oriented.

My user name is my producer name. In hip hop,it was a point where every body name'd themselves "lil Tony",and "Lil Dollar Bill". You name it and some artist or Rap Producer put "Lil" behind it,but me i wanted to stand out and have a name that means something so i choose Capital J. The J stands for Jason (my name) and the reason why i choose the Capital part is because i am the type of person that CAPITALIZES on anything,situation,oppertunity etc...So i ran with Capital J and i'm never goin to change it cause i am "The Capitalizer"

I chose my username due to the fact that I am, amongst other things, a Jazz Guitarist and a guy hence, Jazzguy... Nice thread Lisa.

Something given to me.
This name was given to my by a co-worker friend many years ago when I was in software development... he started calling me "edit-h" since my name is Edith. Those techy guys can be so clever

I use my own name when signing up on forums. I'm lucky because my name is usually available. It's also easy to remember compared to all the usernames I've been using over the years.
