Laughter Is Strong Medicine
Hi everyone, tonight I got a huge dose and wanted to share that Laughter is strong medicine. Lately it seems as though I have been a little on the serious side of life too much. Tonight I got together with a few friends for dinner and what a wonderful surprise that we all experienced. Someone said something funny and woohoo for the next hour we told some gut breaking stories and just had some good clean fun together. I feel like a new man! As we were leaving Janet's home we were all holding our stomaches. The worries of life totally fell off of all of us for a while. Laughter is good medicine for a heavy heart.

Laughing is one of my favorite hobbies, LOL. It's easy to get lost in the negativities of this world if you aren't careful so it's good you had a nice time and got to let loose for a few hours.

Last night I decided to comment on Darren Rowe's post "Are You Male or Female?...
Under a pseudo name I wrote " Darren...I can't answer that...Cause I'm neither!
Too bad he moderates his comments(which I don't blame him ). I was roarin' to tears!
Hey, I wonder if he'll post it. mmm

LOL, webman! I'll have to check to see if it's there. I would think that would be OK to post, but that's just me.

Having Left Over Laughs
Still having some left over laughs from last nights dinner. I had this thought while driving just a few moments ago,"If I must live today, help me do it with a smile." Just as I had the thought an elderly lady, I would guess to be in her 80's, was crossing the street in front of me with a huge smile on her face. I thought go granny go If she can do it, I can live a life filled with smiles too!
Isn't it refreshing to encounter people who are smiling throughout our days?

Webman, I just read your post. LOL, that's a really good one. I love it when I can just laugh at the silly things I do.
This is kinda cool, the last time I saw my mother before she had a heart attack and died, she was laughing uncontrolably. She had decided to stop by our house and visit one afternoon and we were in stitches laughing at some silly thing that she had done.
What a great memory to be left with, ha?

I like my serious side
I'm a serious fellow but I have a good sense of humour. But I'm not a natural at it. When I feel comfortable with people I rip jokes and make the mood as mellow and cool and fun as I want it to be. When I'm not comfortable I tend learn towards my serious side. When I was a bit younger everyday I'd be laughing until there were tears in my eyes but I've noticed as I've gotten older I tend to find less and less time to enjoy life (mind you I'm still a pretty young guy). I can't even remember the last time I had a good laugh with my friends.
This is a good post I think I'm going to call some of my friends and try to get out this weekend

I used to watch them back in the 80's. They used to show reruns late at night and I remember staying up late to watch them. Moe was always my favorite. I always wanted to help Moe slap Curly for being so silly. LOL
