My boyfriend and I are trying to plan a vacation to Alaska. I was wondering if any of you have ever been. We want to build our own vacation instead of taking one of the pre-designed tour packages. I'm trying to get some feedback on the best things to do, places to go/eat, etc. We already know we want to go bear viewing, rafting, and take a cruise to view mountains and glaciers.
