My husband does most of our cooking (I am too busy creating a website you know!!)

He makes all of our bread...usually two loaves a week. He makes anything I ask...but loves the Dutch Oven cooking and breakfasts.

I usually get compliments on my cooking, so I guess I'm pretty good at it. Whenever we have family gatherings, they always ask me to make potato salad and turkey. And my boyfriend loves my buffalo wings. My favorite dish is lasagna.

I've been told that my green beans and bar-b-que chicken wings are really good- I also can make a nice, baked salmon and pot roast! Not that I'm bragging or anything like that....lol

My favorite dish to prepare is garlic/beer crab legs. Notice I said "prepare" 'cause crab legs are so darn easy to do, it's hard to call it "cooking."

Default Garlice/Beer?

That sounds good Lisa! I've steamed crab legs in beer before but how do you do the garlic part? I think I may be biting off you for Friday's dinner. I'm in the mood for them now-

Default Cooking

Hey,

My wife usually cooks but when I do it's breakfast food that I like to make. I can make a mean omelette (hope that's spelled right - lol) & love to make eggs benedict.

Whenever we have French toast or pancakes I do those too. They must be watched so they stay that golden brown color.

Default I couldn't resist

I am single, so if I want a cooked meal I gotta do it.
But I wanted to give you my favorite dish:
If you like pork chops???
Doesn't matter if they are with or with the bone, just brown a few up on each side, don't over cook 'em, and set 'em aside.
Now take some potatos and slice 'em thin. Brown these real good, crispy if you like that. I prefer to use olive oil to cook with because it's healthier and it doesn't burn and adds a nice flavor.
Now add the pork chops on top of the taters and add some mushroom soup, Campbells is just fine. Cover the pan and let it all simmer together for 15-20 minutes on low to medium heat. Stir as needed to keep it all from sticking to the pan (large
Cook your favorite veggie (or salad) as a side.
The mushroom flavor will be excellent, the chops will be tender and moist.
yummmmmmm

OMG!!! Where are from?! Most ppl don't know about cooking crabs in beer w/ Old Bay or other seasoning.

I love salmon. I've been practicing this dish for a while now grilled and sauted. Saute some mushroom w/ onions and garlic, place over fettuccine, steam some broccoli. YUMMY!

You're kidding? I'm from St. Louis Missouri and believe it or not I grew up on seafood despite the fact there aren't a lot of seafood restaurants in Missouri and certainly no fresh bodies of water nearby. LOL I just remember my mom basting or marinating seafood in beer as a child so I continued the tradition as an adult.

Old Bay seasoning! A friend of mine told me to try that recently and I can't find it in my local grocery store.

I love Salmon too. I just found a great mayonnaise-based sauce with dill and dry mustard that tastes so good! I also like to dip my salmon in butter and lemon. Makes me think I'm eating crab legs. LOL When I'm done fixing it up, it's no longer healthy.
