Why thanks for the nice feedback. Me personally, I love helping and this forum has allowed me to interact with more people and has helped my email load because people can come here and get questions quickly.

I didn't go to school for this but got started while in school. I had no intention of making a lot of money but I saw an affiliate ad and it got me curious. I just picked this up as I went along. I think you'll find most people here got started that way. (Kinda by accident or heard of someone else doing this)

I took a few web design classes, but they only exposed me to some of the ins and outs. After you get started, you have to take the bull by the horns and read up on all things web design. Joining Website Babble is one of the best things you could have done. It will give you a head start.

I've been designing for about 5 years, but I was hand coding the entire time. (I can just here the gasps from everyone) It was fun at times, but a waste of time. I am nowhere near the designer I should be. I just stared using my dreamweaver that I have had for about 3 years.

This forum has helped me get on track and explore programs like Google AdSense to earn money doing what I already love doing.

I hope the best for you.

For me, I'm technical with a programming background, so writing HTML is simple for me. I write all my HTML and CSS code using plain old Notepad.

Any images I have I designed in Photoshop, which I learned as I went along.

For Web sites, I'm learning as I go. I have made a few mistakes, but that is all part of the learning process. As with many things in life, you will learn as you do something.

Default I wish

I have'nt helped you with anything yet, so maybee its outa place to post....but..I have never had any professional training but it may have saved my years of trial and error. I learned most of what I know by great sites like this where everybody helps each other out.

So with that in mind, I extend an invatation for you to abuse my brain whenever you may need...LOL

Experience comes different for most people. I was fascinated with the internet when it first came around back in '92 and I have been trying to figure out how to do this web thing since then. I started working on Dreamweaver when it was Dreamweaver 4. As far as schooling, I just started school back in Jan '06 to get my Bachelors in Web Design & Multimedia. I'm due to graduate this Oct. Nevertheless, most of my experience is just from digging into the programs and getting a basic understading of how it works.

You actually have an advantage that most of us didn't have back then. As a beginner, you have forums like these with people that are willing to help you. I wish I had this back then.

Keep diggin' in buddy
