Anyone Watch American Idol?
I just finished watching the guys perform. I was pretty impressed overall. A couple were boring but I think the David guy is going all the way. He is so mature for a 17 yr old.
C'mon I know someone has to be watching this?

I watched it
The guys are kind of boring in the beginning, hopefully they'll come around. Can't wait to hear the girls. I got to say I'm a fan.

I could never really get in to American Idol, even though my co-workers are always telling me how good it is. I usually just watch the preliminary auditions for some good laughs.
My favorite talent show is America's next top model. I can't get enough of it. And I'm so excited because the new season starts tonight.

That's the same thing I said!! If David Archuletta don't win, he'll be the runner up. He's good.
TIVO - Let's see:
Prison Break
American Idol
Lost
Terminator
Mythbusters
Kyle Xy
Heroes
Medium
24
and the list goes on................
My wife always argue with me about my tv downstairs because it's always recording something. (HEHE) She can only watch tv in our bedroom.
She likes those boring shows like
FBI files
First 48
LIfe Channel
Investigators
Biography
and the list goes on............

Yes,
I think David was outstanding, however in past experience the best performer doesn't always win. I'm not sure regarding the Ladies yet.
I love ANTM. so glad the new season starts. I have watched so many reruns. [does that mean I'm hooked?] lol

I liked the cute 17 year old and the guy with the dreds. I am still bummed that the nerdy, politician type kid didn't get thru. I really liked him.
I have to wait until my husband gets back in town to watch the girls sing on Tivo.
We're huge Idol fans. It's really the only show we watch. I spend the rest of my time on my computer. I now have a love/hate relationship with Dell.

So what does everyone think of the results show last night? I can't say I was surprised at who went home except for Garrett. He didn't do that well but I actually thought the teeny-bopper audience (especially young girls) would keep him around.
I felt so bad for Amy Davis when she had to sing. She was so nervous and her voice was quivering to no end. Sometimes I wonder why they make them sing when they are so emotional but I guess they feel it's doing them a favor to give American one last view of them.

It would be nice if they let them sing a song of their choice, though. I find it odd that they just got voted off for singing a song that didn't go over well, and then they have to sing that same song again in front of everyone. I usually end up feeling sorry for them too. Even the ones I really want to go home.

I had to resurrect this thread. We're down to the final 6. I think either Brook or Jason will go. What a horrible night for both. Poor Brooke forgetting the words. She may get sympathy votes though.
