Thumbs down Yankees Champs.

Yankees win the World Series. Blahhhh!!!
Does anyone else hate "big market" teams? A huge payroll to dispose in getting all of the best talent. I suppose it is different if you live there but it makes me and most others sick.

I'm not a fan of big market teams that can easily buy the best talent and compete year after year. Whatever happened to investing in young talent, training them through your system and then watching them mature enough to win championships?

Exactly Tech. Thats what my Milwaukee Brewers do. (Fielder-Braun-Gallardo) They have no choice but to scout, draft, and develop their own. They are just a pitcher or two away from hanging with the big boys with such a low salary.

Yeah I think about that too. Nothing against the Yankees (I could have really cared less who won. LOL) but it does sort of take away from it a bit when you know these larger, more popular cities can invest in the better players. It's funny you posted this WebTraffic 'cause I was thinking about that this morning while watching the celebration on The Today's Show.

I'm with West on this one. There is always next year for our Fightin' Phills! They had a great year and I'm looking forward to another one.

Well, I have to admit I am really not a big fan of sports, and being from Toronto, it's really easy to not have to watch any playoffs!!! If you get my drift
