How did your Halloween go?
So how did everyones halloween go?
Mine was okay, my job for trick or treating was to carry my baby nephew around, some people put in extra candy for me cause I was packing him around. Haha.
Strangely, my nephews and grandpas birthday are on halloween and my brother in laws birthday is the 30th. So we celebrated 3 birthdays also..
It was a night of overwhelming sweets..

No tricks or treats for me. Just a get together with friends, food and fun! I'll be headed to the store tomorrow to buy all those discounted sweets. Mmmmm!!

I had 2 kids show up at my door, which was great because I didn't buy any special goodies. Luckily I remembered that I had some 100 calorie packs of cookies for them. Not really a treat but they where happy.

At work I dressed as a witch from the Salem Witch Trials complete with burned rope on my wrists, a broom skirt and a pheasant top so that was fun. Ran out on Halloween and bought the non discounted candy (dumb really dumb) and did not have 1 single kid knock on my door -
There were a lot of tricker treaters at the grocery store....guess that is safer.

6 years ago I would have been trick or treating
I remember dying my hair black and dressing up as a vampire one Halloween. Everyone on our road used to go out as big group, used to be so much fun. I do remember one time I got an apple from someone
We had many trick or treaters at our house yesterday. I looked out the window and there was a group of 30. One girl who knocked did look about 16 but the others were all kids.

Oh my. That's a lot of kids. I love it when they ask/say , "Just one?" Because you know they want to take it all.

We had a good time. Most of the family came over, we built a fire in the backyard and roasted some hotdogs and marshmellows.
