Hi Lisa

I have made a template up that I want to submit but I want to keep it for a bit and tweak it maybe but anyway, I noticed that the links on the top navigation (in the image) are aligned in the center, can these be aligned to the left?

They sure can be. That was just example. Alignment does not matter. Good luck!

No it doesn't matter. People are going to be judging your site on the visual appeal.

Ok...I'll go first...lol

The entire heading is an image. Instead of adding a real add, I just included a fake one in my image. I used a little css for the horizontal nav and flash for the left nav (as opposed to includes). For may fake content, I created a self righteous character named "TAG", a Website Babble Badge, and one of Lisa's videos just to make things interesting. I also add a fake search bar. If this were a real website, that's where I would put it.

Hi everyone

Here is my design for the contest

The template has no javascript, PHP or anything just HTML & CSS.

I added image borders, formatted the <hr> tag and also the paragraph tag, used classes a lot to format three different types of link (content, footer, left nav) and added some CSS buttons to make it interesting!

I am not much of a logo designer so the logo is pretty flat but I hope by adding colors ect it makes up for it

I posted some frustrations on the CSS forum I am having with free editors and my computer of late. Due to some upcoming knee surgery in about a week. I am going to have to forego my work on the CSS and just submit my design using Front Page and html. It will be in by the deadline.

FYI, I will probably be off the puter for at least a week but hopefully no longer lol! GOOD LUCK TO ONE AND ALL DURING THE CONTEST...MAY THE BEST GUY...OR GAL WIN, LOL!!!!!

Looking forward to reviewing all the fine designs out there!!!!

It's ben almost a year since the injury, so this is the last step...I hope it goes well too, lol!

Sergeant is what officers call you, Sarge is what the troops call you I'm sort of a Sarge type of guy, lol!
