There is no shame in coming in second. James has provided great advice on these forums. Congrats James.
I had a little hidden contest going on with the new reputation system and James just won it. The first WB member to get 100 reputation points (and who is eligible for WB contests) wins $50! Congrats, James that's you!! Jazzguy and TechieGuy were in a dead heat for 2nd and right behind James.
If you look at James' posts he now has 2 green bars underneath his # of posts. You earn 1 green bar for every 100 reputation points you earn.
See the link below for an overview of the reputation system

You never know when a contest is going to pop up at WB so keep adding those quality replies!
NOTE: Please do not start posting a bunch of new threads with random tips and facts just to try to boost your reputation points. I am more interested in the quality of the members REPLIES to people who need help and have questions. I've noticed a few more "random fact" posts that don't really spark discussion since I've implemented the reputation system. Could be a coincidence but just wanted to keep that in check.
There probably won't be a contest for the person who gets to 3 reputation bars first because that may prohibit people from giving feedback to other people (that's why I didn't announce this contest).
I've been checking the reputation feedback and it seems that people are using it to reward other members pretty fairly. So thank you for that! You guys are awesome! I want to make Website Babble the best webmaster forum on the Web and I couldn't do it without you guys and gals!

This is quite a surprise! Especially when I think about the quality of posts by TechieGuy, jazzguy, and a good number of others who contribute great posts on a regular basis.
Thanks to all of you who showed your appreciation and to Lisa for bringing this about. All I can say is that I do try to be helpful when I can and will keep on doing so as long as there are people asking questions easy enough for me to handle. Thanks again.
James
