    Yeah you can.

    https://www.godaddy.com/Hosting/web-...g.aspx#details

Scroll down to domains and multiple websites. You will be able to create multiple websites under the same control panel. Your plans disk space and bandwdith will be shared amoungst all of your websites. In other words you will be limited by how much space your hosting account has.

    Hope I helped.

Were you asking about 2 sites or 1 hosting account and 2 domains?

If you were asking about 2 domain names and 1 hosting account, you can have a "main" domain name to the site, then purchase a second domain to point to the same site.

On GoDaddy, just got to domains and look for "forwarding". You type in the original website address and then both domains will take visitors to that site.

    I hope this helps.

Yes, but it will cost $10 a year per domain, so don't go buying hundreds of domains

Ah! Now I understand. So you want to have 1 domain point to 1 page and a 2nd domain point to another.

The forward will work for that situation also. The first would point to YourSite.com/index/html and the 2nd one will be forwarded to YourSite.com/2nd-index.html.

I hope that made sense to you.

    Thumbs up

Well, most of the hosting providers allow you to host more than 1 domain name with a shared hosting package also. Hence, this should definitely allow you to host more than 1 domain name on the same hosting package, however, it is better to confirm with the hosting provider before you add a domain on the same hosting package

    All the best!!

That would be a premium package though... right? I don't think basic packages offer that. I need to check on that.

    Good point.

I have over 6 sites being hosted on my domain account. I have a reseller from GoDaddy, so I'll leave the name off to not self promote, but it runs the same as GoDaddy. It is very easy to do.

Your URLs still stay unique. www .name1.com, www .name2.com and so on. The easiest way to keep it organized is to build the site in a folder on your computer then use the free FTP to upload it to its directory. All you have to do is indicate that it is its own root directory.

If your domain and hosting are on the same account, you can then single click to Google verify and do analytics also.

Is that for the basic package or does it matter? I haven't had time to research it yet.

I have the deluxe plan which run $7.43 a month when you take a year at a time. I haven't even hit 2-3% of usage on it yet. Just call the support number to confirm. I have way more hosting space then I need 150 gb space, 1500 gb transfer.

    Default help

As i'm a real newbie about domain name and hosting i've been reading your previous posts carefully...after a while i finally found that i meet all the requirements to have 2 websites/folders on 1 hosting plan with 2 domains on Godaddy.
    The only think is:
    - When i click on the forwarding option of my second domain it asks me in a simple way where i want to forward my 2nddomain
So i forward my 2nddomain to 1stdomain.com/folder. Then i choose to mask it. The DNS are updating themself automaticly.
After that do i need to change the IP adress of @ in the Total DNS control ?

Should i input a folder in the forwarding adress ?

How long does it take to take effect ? Because if i did right, this is not working at all

    Thanks in advance for helping

If you forward and mask your second domain you will essentially be having one web site that is found under two names. Is this what you are trying to accomplish? If so, be careful. Google frowns upon these type of redirects as they give the impression that you are promoting one site multiple times.

If you actually want to have an additional independent site running off your hosting account you need to:

web hosting> my web hosting accounts>manage account>add domain

Here you add your domain name and a create a folder name where you will place your website files. give it sometime to populate itself before adding files. Then when you are ready to upload your site just put it in this file.

The easiest way to do this is
web hosting> my web hosting accounts>manage account>then hover over content and you will see the FTP client option. Click the ftp and you will see your hard drive where you have your site built and you will see the folder you created. Open the new folder and upload to there.

If your domain is hosted on the same account, it will find it, unless your changed settings stay put. Then just call support and they will point it for you.

    Good Luck
