I have never found a free webhost site like this one . I think if you want to try to webdesign but dont want to spend money this is the place.

For free hosting I have never found a site like them. So go check it out.

If it's such a great service, why did they use a private domain registration with godaddy? What legit company does that? What are they hiding? Fishy to me too.

Yah i do agree with that but it looks ok. my friend has used it i have not i just thought it was suprising someone would do that you know.

A lot of fishy things have been going on this past week on the forum.... hmm and since when were we allowed to have banners? I thought the rule was 400 posts first?

You've noticed that too, huh? Much more spam and sneaky behavior than normal. Must be something in the air.

Actually the banner thing was my mistake. I have members set up into groups based on permissions. I forgot to turn off "allow images" for the groups who are eligible for the contests and people under 400 posts.

I am actually getting ready to disable the image feature (for people under 400 posts) because there's no way for me to limit the size of the images when people use the IMG tag and I don't particularly like people using large images in their sig. I certainly don't feel like policing it either. Large images hurt loading time and people get carried away. Some spammer posted a large porn image one day and I deleted his account. Another member ignored my request to resize an 800x 500 image altogether. So I am getting ready to remove the image option from sigs unless you have 400 posts (which was my original intention anyway). Sorry, folks.

But it's my fault for not paying attention.

Lisa you have a hard enough job as it is having to police the forum and run your websites so I'm sure the majority of us didn't mind the weird occurrences this past week.

One note about the 400 post rule: If and when a member does reach 400 posts and they choose to ignore the size rule just take the privilege away. We have quality members on this forum so it’s not likely that you'll have to do that but there's always at least one person who tries to break the rules

Oh, I totally agree and plan to do that for people over 400 posts. But I do not want to have to police sig images for people under 400 posts because there are just too many people in that category (over 95% of people here) and I would go bonkers trying to keep up with revoking privileges, etc. So that's why I decided to remove the privileges from people under 400 (which is how I meant to do it in the first place).
