With Hostgator the namesavers you get apply to all the domains you use right? and then you basically manage all of them with the Cpanel

Yes if you buy the domain name from somewhere else than you need to change the name server all domain names to point to hostgator.

if you buy it from host gator than you do not have to.

You may know that already, but just in case...

You won't be able to manage the domain through cPanel automatically. First, you change the name servers on the domain registrars. Then from cPanel, click on "Add On Domains". Once you add the domain, a new directory in your file manager will be created, where you can add new files/pages to your new website.
