Default Sick To Death Of My Web Host

Not going to go into it... point being i want to swap webhosts.

I dont need alot of hosting and after abit of searching im going to go with websitepalace.. $3 a month for 3years, i just cant resist.

Im just asking if anyone has used them, and if they can give me any issues they might have had.

Also im planning on creating a new domain, i was probably going to register it godaddy.com or namecheap.com. I was just wondering if its hard to register it with them and then host with website palace? im alittle iffy on how that all works, because my other site i got the domain from the same person that hosted it. So a quick explanation on that would be good.

Just did a search for the domain i want and i can get it off godaddy for $1. So i think that might be the way to go?

help is appreciated.

I think you can get the domain for $1 at godaddy, only if you purchase some other service like hosting. Or are you registering a .info domain?

You can register your domains anywhere you want. Both GoDaddy and NameCheap are good.

All you need to do later on is just change the nameservers.

yeh its a .info domain for a $1.

I just want to buy the domain there, then use websitepalace for hosting. So changing the name servers is easy and free?

i buy all my domain names my self separate from my hosting as if in future i need to change my hosting than all i need to do is log in domain name registrar account and change name servers.

I do that as once you have good domain and have it indexed than thats your business name that you need for rest time you in online venture.

Always go for a well known hosting and research as all this cheap hosting plans may not give the support you want if something goes wrong.

Changing the nameservers is free and easy. You just login to your hosting account and go to the Nameserver area under the Domain Name Management and enter the nameserver values provided by your host.

Thats true Lisa but for some reason you need to change hosting and you bought the domain name from them as a package than you may loose that domain name that you worked so hard to index.

You lost me Giovindj. I was responding to sammyspam's question about the ease of changing nameservers. Is this a problem at namecheap?

Sammyspam, Website Babble is hosted at websitepalace. Since that's my own reseller store I get a discount and am only paying about $2/month for hosting. (It's really run by GoDaddy but websitepalace is just my rebranded reseller name)

All domain registrars allow you to change the nameservers. They have an interface that allows you to change nameservers without any problem.

It is almost the same with all the registrars. Different registrars do have different interfaces. This is where the problem comes. But if you are computer/Internet savvy, you will have no problem in finding how to do it. If you have any problem, just contact the support department and they will help you.

I feel that GoDaddy has the best domain interface.
