I need Help with my web host!

Hey,

as you know, I am a big supporter of Web Hosting Pad...

however, their servers crashed, and my site has been down for 5 days...

they claim to have 99.9% uptime, and state it on their homepage

they are offering me a 3 month credit, and are extending my money back gaurantee to 60 days...

however, the catch is, if i cancel before the deadline, they make you pay 20 dollars a year for your domain EACH YEAR... 60 dollars

can you give me advice on what to do?
they arent answering my emails

I might think of changing host(hostgator)
does hostgator have cPanel with Fantastico de Luxe?

Wow, that's a tough situation. My gut feeling would be to move. It's one thing to be down for 3 hours but 5 days is ridiculous. I think that cancellation policy is the worst I've ever heard ($20 per year for each domain???? What kind of mess is that?)

But if the $60 is going to hurt your wallet too much then I could understand why you want to stay. You'll have to decide if $60 is worth having the peace of mind to move to another host that is more reputable and has better support. I think it's worth it but that's just me.

Hostgator does have cpanel with Fantastico (Now I'm not sure about the "deluxe" part. Are there multiple versions of Fantastico?)

Yes, Hostgator provides cpanel and fantastico.

If you are migrating to hostgator, request them to move your sites. They provide this service for free I think.
