Hi and welcome,

Do you have any web software that you plan to use to build your pages? What you would generally do is create your pages in the software and then either FTP them through the software's built-in feature or do it through your FTP program separately.

For example I use Dreamweaver. I create my pages in the software and then I publish them to the web using the software's built in FTP feature. I setup an FTP username and password with my host and use that combination in my software to publish the pages live.

You don't have to use software. You could use Notepad and write the HTML coding yourself. But most people (especially beginners) like to use software.

Default Word Press

Thanks for your prompt response...

I am going through the Word Press for Dummies book (pg96) - I have installed Word Press into my computer, but I guess there is a SQL database that I need to set up using cPanel. I am unable to get into cPanel, because my link leads me back to WebsitePalace.com stating that my domain is, "parked."

I gues I'm not putting 2 and 2 together..... hmm....

Default Figured Out?

I believe that my domain needed to be pointed to my hosting service..... somebody from the hosting service chat (support), is helping me.

I believe this is where I was stuck.....

Update later...
