Either learn how to code using HTML & CSS or use a content management system that is open source. Wordpress is a popular CMS system but there are many other free ones available.

Do you have ideas what you want your website to be about?

I would start by making a short list of topics you are interested/passionate enough about to create a website. Given that you write as a freelancer, you should not have a problem with generating unique and fresh articles to post on your website, but it's important to narrow down topics to just a few, and then we can help you with the research, etc.

If you are looking to start a new website, I suggest as already stated you must find a topic of interest, if you start with a topic you already have some knowledge of it will make it easy for you to update your site and add content/information to it.

If you are wanting to use adsense as your affiliate/pay ads system then the more content, meaning articles and information, you can get on your website about the same subject matter, the better. So keep this in mind as you choose your website topic or website theme.

If you can use word, you can make a website, you don't have to be a coder, I see a lot of people pushing others to learn different web programming languages but the fact is, there are many programs out there that you can build websites with, that require you to know absolutely nothing about html, php, java, or css.

And as far as sbi, everybody here says its great, but I do not know alot about it. I can tell you though, you do not need to spend hardly any money to get setup with a website these days, you can get a .com domain name or any other domain name for one year for less than ten bucks.
