Default Need Good Web Host for Blogs

Hi all,

I know there are many hosts discussed in this forum, and I known many of you have different hosts. I'm just wondering which would be a good host to join for blogs, knowing that many offer WordPress.

Here is my current state:

I have one blog that is currently hosted at Blogger, which I have a domain name for. I will be starting a second blog for my wife and currently have a domain name for that one as well. That blog has not been started.

Future state, as in soon:

I would like to start my wife's blog in WordPress on a host, outside of the free blog sites, such as Blogger. Once I have that blog up and running, I would then like to also move my blog over as well, so I'll be running two blogs with two different domain names.

At this point, I'm not concerned with being on a shared host (I know the risks), but may eventually move to a dedicated host if finances allow in the future.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I vote for Hostgator. You can host multiple domains on one account, get lots of space and they have cpanel installed so setting up your WordPress blog is a snap.

I vote for Hostgator, too!
Especially through my affiliate link... j/k of course

In all seriousness, I have used Hostgator for a year and half now, and never had a problem with them.

The only thing I don't like is that their domain is $15, but if you purchase your own domain from GoDaddy or another company, then you can just change the nameservers of the domain to that of your Hostgator account.

Thanks guys.

I think I'll try Hostgator. I already have the domains. I was able to buy my wife's for $6.95 at GoDaddy so it was cheaper than Hostgator.

I am using bluehost.com. It also host unlimited domains. But only one c-panel. It only cost 6.95 dollars. I don't know if hostgator provide more c-panels for additional domains or not.

Hostgator also provides only 1 cPanel for all domains, but it works out ok.
