I hope I asked this right. Anyways, I have two web projects that I'll be starting for my clients within the next week or so, and I'm trying to see if it would be worth it to sign up as a reseller and to see about recruiting my team as resellers under me. I'm not sure how all that works, but I just wanted to ask you before I made my decisions.
Also, What method do you use when you are hired to do a website for someone? Do you tell them to go to websitepalace.com and buy a hosting and domain package first and then you charge them to build their site, or do you purchase a hosting and domain package for them and then charge them for both the package and to build their site. Just trying to see what works for you and what's easier. I will be making a decision this Saturday.
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
Yes I do earn a 2-tier commission from websitepalace.com if you were to sign up as a reseller, but I just found out last week that in order to be eligible for the two-tier commission you need to sign up under the parent company
www.wildwestdomains.com. It's more expensive than my branded reseller store but that's the only way to be eligible for the 2-tier.
I guess Wild West Domains doesn't earn much money from a reseller who recruits a reseller who recruits a reseller so that's why you have to sign up with
www.wildwestdomains.com (the parent company) if you think you are going to recruit other people who want to resell.
So if you signed up under my link you would
not be eligible for 2-tier commissions, only 1 tier. Best to go through wildwestdomains.com for that.
Make sense?
As far as your 2nd question, I don't build sites for other people so I haven't run into this issue. All my sales come from 2create and people just build their sites themselves.
But what I would do is have them sign up using their own card so they have full control over their own account, passwords, etc. Then they can create an FTP account for you so you can build their sites. It would be a hassle if you signed up for them because you want their domains to be in their name, not yours. That could get messy.
