Default Best DVD tutorial for Dreamweaver?

I am getting ready to purchase Dreamweaver CS4 and wondered if anyone can recommend a good tutorial DVD for a beginner. I have a MAC and I've noticed that some of the DVD's out there don't mention if there videos are compatible w/ Mac's or if they assume you're on Windows

    Thanks for any help!

I would suggest looking around Youtube for free tutorials. There are plenty of them out there and much more is covered than you would get on a DVD.

I just upgraded to CS4 last month and they had a free, 30-day subscription to lynda.com You can watch the videos right from your computer. I already knew a lot about DW but I learned so much and will probably purchase a subscription for them so I can continue to access these videos. I don't know if they still have that promo going on but I would check. lynda.com is really all you need in my opinion.

I second the recommendation for Lynda.com. Terrific web site and service.

Big mistake here is that the editorial quality of YouTube is umm.. questionnable. A DVD or a book has to be good enough to 'sell'. Something I'm really getting into is ordering books and DVDs off Amazon for learning and review. Why? Because they have to be approved by a qualified editor and are more often than not written by experts.

I could put up a video about Dreamweaver - and I've never even opened the software, but I certainly couldn't get anything past a publishing house!

** If Lynda.com is so good they deserve a flattering link.

Yup, Lynda.com is the one. I have a 30 day free trail also, and when it expires this weekend, I plan on subscribing for at least another month.

Adobe also has some great free online tutorials over at Adobetv http://tv.adobe.com/#

Btw - good luck with learning Dreamweaver.

    Default Don't miss Lynda!

lynda.com has truly outstanding tutorials on all major programs as well as programming. They are totally professional and stand head and shoulders above most others (all that I have seen).
