I know this is a Noob question, but one I have been stuck on for a while.
My hosting provider (hostgator) would love to install any script for me . That is great if you only want to work on one site and not interested in knowing how to manage a website- and in my case 4 domains.

I am bored with blogging software right now wp, drupal and joomla and want to work on something that will actually make me a small income to start. I know im not the typical blogger, because I don't like writing everyday... database management and the backdoor operations of keeping up a website is what i am stuck on....

I will be back in college next month and will not have the time I have right now, and would like to get at least one website started, and not waste my domains, parked making someone else money.

Any have a guide to installing a website script on a Domain using Filezilla? thanks in advance.

I should also add. I am not able to afford hundreds of dollars worth of software. example Dreamweaver or Photoshop

hm it's hard to say since every script is different. Is there a script your looking at now? Or do you need advice on a script?

There is no need for Dreamweaver if u cannot afford it. You can program in notepad/programmer's notepad. As for the design part, i really think Photoshop is the way to go. I don't really understand your script problem.could u be a little more specific? Cheers
(Scripts are files or a collection of files that acomplish a certian purpose..on web, the main language may be php or java, and the connections to the database. If you know those things should be easier)
