Default Website Tonight - Help!!

I have been using Website-Tonight for awhile and like the way it has performed - up until recently!

My question is this...why can I no longer add any of my own (not the widget) adsense/google html to my website?
I have "cut and paste" the html code from google onto "notepad" and then onto the website-tonight "platform" but I keep getting an error message that reads: "Unable to Save"
And - when I switch from the html to the design "method" in the block the block is blank. Doesn't even show that there is any code or anything in there.

I hope someone understand what I am trying to describe. I'm at a loss.

Thanks for your help!!!

Default Still Looking for Answers!!

Can somebody please answer my question. I noticed a bunch of people have read the question - but I have gotten no answers.

If I'm being really "dumb" with regards to what i'm doing wrong - feel free to tell me that too!

Thanks!

Default Dumb? not likely.

Maybe ignorant but not dumb. "All of us are ignorant, just on different subjects" [Gerald Mann] There is probably some technical reason you are having this problem and it is probably small.

Most of us do not use website-tonight but some do and hopefully someone who does will be able to help you. Have you checked with website-tonight to see if there is technical help available or a forum?

I picked website-tonight when I was more ignorant them I am now. I put the cart before the horse and jumped in with both feet before any clue of what I was doing.
I have an AWESOME website address i'm just stuck right now using what I have.
(I rant 5th in Yahoo with key search words and 13th in google)

Unless somebody has some fabulous idea on an inexpensive program I can use to make my website. (And keep my current domain name!)

I for one have no idea about website tonight. Can you transfer your domain name? if so it might be worth getting a host and going that route as most of us have knowledge about how to help you from there.

I signed up with "act-now domains" so I assume the answer to the question is "yes."
But I don't know.

(I'm feeling more and more ignorant by the moment!!)

Also if your question goes un answered here it is more likely to people just don't have the knowledge then not wanting to help out. I have asked a few on here that got viewed over 100 times with no reply. Well I would find out from them if you can transfer the domain as I personally don't know anything about act now either

Thanks for your help!
I will do a bit of research.
I do believe that I can "host" a site with Act-Now.
(That would translate that I can create my site on my computer with a program like dreamweaver and then "upload" it to the site? right??)

correct. There are many ways you can do this from building your own with php, html or using a cms and getting a template you like so there is little modification from there. I would also wait a little longer as someone may know a answer to your original question as well.

Act-now looks alot (almost exactly) like Websitepalace. Which Lisa has mentioned several times on 2createawebsite . (If that is any help!)

So with that in mind - where do I go from here???

I would still give it a little time. I don't use any of those things personally. So for me to even guess at how to fix the issue would not be right. If you don't hear from someone by say Monday then I would consider making the move.

You can use what ever you would like.
Internet Explorer does a fair job for displaying webpages but really lacks the tools a developer needs built in. Also keep in mind it is made by Microsoft.(not a bad thing) But this does mean that more hakers and spyware target this browser.

Firefox loads a little slower atleast on 64bit but has great tools for developers with firebug, babblefish and some of the other great tools out there. They also use the GEKO engine and this actually helps fight off some of the spyware that is targeted to people as it does not have the same security leaks that IE has.

Firebug, babblefish - wow you are talking way over my head............

But as far as using either with say "dreamweaver" or other site building software - they operate about the same?

(Make it easy for me - a simple yes or no will do!

LOL yes.

But it is better to actually use both in this case as both display things a little bit different.
