What pictures could I add to my site?

keep getting told to add pictures to my site, what relevant pictures could I add? site is : http://www.theadvertisingguide.co.nr

I think you can put search engine logos, traffic graphs etc

Just look at what you write and reflect what you read.

The first paragraph talks about your "guide." You could make an image of a book with that name on it. You could make a picture of a stack of papers with the name of the report on it. Whatever you like.

Then every line of your list is suggestive of images. For example, "fit in with other website owners" could be a group of people working at a computer or whatever.

In several place you mention money so you could have a pile of cash. And you can always use borders around one or more sides of an element.

The potentials are unlimited. Just use your imagination. Look at other sites you think are good and do something similar.

One of the many great uses images have is to break up your text and add another layer to your site or blog. There's nothing worse than coming to a page which looks like someone ripped a page out of a telephone book.

Reading large blocks of text is very uncomfortable, so strictly speaking your images don't always have to be on topic. In fact a lot of really great sites and blogs have off topic images just to add interest, another layer and introduce some color contrast to the page.

Images essentially help make people feel comfortable looking at your page and add interest.

A good question to ask yourself is, what does my page need. Some color contrast, an interesting element or just an abstract addition to break up the text, or all of the above.

A good way to get a better feel is look and analyse how other sites and blogs utilize images in different ways to give you a better idea of what may work best for your site.
