Hey guys,
Has anyone used the CoffeeCup HTML Editor before? Is it cool... or in other words, does it work and/or do you like it? Ever since my Dreamweaver encountered all these bugs, I need an alternative. But I thought I should ask for any opinions before I buy... it's only $50, but still.
I own it and play around with it from time to time but I've never managed a site with it. They have some SWEET templates and cool free javascripts you can use, but I think I didn't have the patience to learn a brand new layout/menu functions so I opted to stay with Dreamweaver.
It's pretty easy to use. I'm so glad their later versions now allow you to edit in Design view. You used to have to do EVERYTHING in code view and I thought that was dumb. But they've fixed that now.
But overall it's a nice program and you can publish directly to your server just like FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.
The best feature is that you get free upgrades for life. So every time they release a new version you can just download it.

I have trouble uploading PDFs to my server. (Just discovered this last night) Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the menu options will take some time to load, etc.
This is only with the MX version and I've read on Google others have problems too. Is this the version you use, Jimmy?
But I won't complain, I get it for free!

Well I used MX7 and never had any problems uploading pdf's. I currently use Web Premium CS3 and yet haven't had a problem. You may want to check for patch updates on Adobe that can fix the problem. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Look for Dreamweaver 8.02 Updates.
