Hope I've got this in the right forum.

I'm very new to all this, & at the moment, very confused & overwhelmed by it all! But I'm determined to make sense of things & get to grips with building my site.

I've got my domain & host sorted, & I decided to use shopsite to build my site, simply because It does it for you. But, I'm having problems. My main problem is that the products I sell are hand made, so, there's only 1 or 2 items available in each design, & the cart allows people to add endless amounts of one item I tried to get some help from powweb tech support, but I may aswell have been talking to myself, they just didn't understand what I was trying to ask. Now, If this feature isn't available with the basic shopsite (free version) that I'm using, then it's no good to me at all. So, how can I add this feature? now that I've built my site using shopsite?? Can I add other software to it? or would I need to start again?

Like I said, I really don't understand these things, so please speak to me in the simplest terms possible! I will be very greatful for any help/advice anyone can offer

Can no one help? Even just a little bit of advice would be great

ShopSite's "inventory" feature includes this description:

"How about limiting sales so that you don't oversell a limited-edition product or one that you don't want to reorder? ShopSite's inventory tracking module can do that for you..."

However, only the Pro version includes this feature. And the cost of the Pro version is either a one time price of $1295 or a monthly fee of $70-$125.

Hello.

I have no prior experience with Shopsite, nor have I ever heard of it...

But I do know some pretty stout E-Commerce Solutions.

Cubecart and osCommerce are definately up there.

You can manage prices, quantity, description, etc. All in easy to understand steps.
