This is my dilemma. When I had my web design class in high school they gave us the option between Adobe GoLive and Dreamweaver. I didn't like Dreamweaver at the time so I mastered GoLive and got a 91% in the class. After that I made few websites for fun (I don’t even remember what they were about) and then never thought twice about continuing to upgrade my skills. I tried to go back to GoLive years later and I was really rusty and I noticed that GoLive became pretty much obsolete when compared to Dreamweaver.
I currently have Dreamweaver MX and Fireworks MX and I could get my hands on CS3 in a few months but does it really matter? Yes Yes I know that they have added new features to the new version but in the grand scheme of things does it really make that much of a difference?
PS. Lets just say that I work with MX I'm sure they have a way to transfer/integrate my work into CS3 whenever I get around to buying it right?
I have CS3 but to be honest, I don't see much difference than the MX version other than the CSS menus are better. Unless DW comes out with some feature that I really want than I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon.
