Default Uploading your DreamWeaver site to SBI !

I know how to go to upload your own HTML in SBI, now im curious about the uploading, does one have to upload each page one by one or just the template then the template links to every page.

The reason I ask is because I wonder about the adsense code, For example: If I was to paste my adsense code into the Template and make it not/non editable, will the code sensor the relevance to each of its pages or will it display ads relating to content on the template.

I know there basically like 2 questions here but I'm mainly curious about the uploading.

Hi revenue,

Your template would be part of your page. So the first time you change over to Dreamweaver (or any other software) you do have to upload each page (with your new design) individually. Then after that you can do them individually for small changes.

What I did was re-design my homepage first. Then I used that as my template and switched over every page one by one.

For AdSense and other common sections, I setup include files. So for example, the AdSense code on the right side of my SBI! site is inside an include file. All the pages on my site call up that include file so all I have to do is re-upload that file with my AdSense code if I want to make a change.

I wouldn't use Dreamweaver's Non editable regions feature with SBI! because it may not be able to interpret it. Just use clean HTML and CSS with your template.

Make sure you read SBI!'s Transition Guide because it explains all that I'm talking about pretty thoroughly. Remember, since you aren't FTP-ing your site through Dreamweaver like a regular host you have to make some modifications to appease SBI!'s unique hosting setup. So reading that Transition Guide is a must.
