OK, now you need a web host. The domain is just the address of your site. The host is what gives you the space to create your pages and publish them to the Net. At websitepalace there are two different kinds. There's basic hosting (See "Web Hosting" tab and it starts at $3.99/month) With this plan it's best to have some kind of web software.
But since you don't, you may want to look into Website Tonight. (It's under the "Build a Site" tab) No software is needed and you simply pick your design and add your text and pictures. It's all browser based and you can update your site from anywhere and no prior website building knowledge needed.
One downside to Website Tonight is that you're limited with flexibility and you don't have the freedom to manipulate your template and layout as much as you would with a regular host.
My advice would be to download
Nvu (free) or buy CoffeeCup or Dreamweaver and familiarize yourself with some kind of web building software. Because you're going to need this to create your pages unless you write HTML from scratch (not recommended for beginners)
Then you can choose the basic and most economical Web hosting plan at websitepalace ($3.99/month) and you'll have the flexibility to do whatever you want with your site. Yes, some learning is involved but that's whatcha gotta do if you want the freedom to do what you wish with your site.
