Apparantly I couldn't build a dating site wth simple html or css alone would there be a very good or simple and user friendly sofware for the task, i guess it must have social networking abilities if thats what its called and where could I retain the info ?

I don't know of anyone who has ever used one.. but I found a list of the top 40 open source social networking software.
